We’re makers obsessed with the weight, balance, and feel of every piece we create. If it doesn’t sit right in your hand, it doesn’t leave ours. Our pottery is thrown, pulled & trimmed by hand and intently refined before it’s ready to leave our studio. No piece is exactly the same, nor do we want them to be. We update the shop weekly with new forms, food-safe glazes, and creative expressions that reflect the evolution of our work. We offer this to you in hopes that you’ll find a form that speaks to you!
Shipping & Payment Details
To keep things simple, we offer flat-rate shipping based on your location. We’ve found this to be the most streamlined and accurate!
West U.S.: $5 flat rate plus $5 per item | East U.S.: $10 flat rate plus $5 per item.
If you’re ordering multiple items or shipping option seems high, we recommend selecting the “Custom Pay Later Shipping” option at checkout.
We offer multiple payment options!
including a full online checkout with PayPal, Apple Pay, Credit Card!
If you’d like to pay with cash, check or venmo, simply call us and we’ll process your order over the phone! (This options saves us fees and offers cheaper shipping for you)

At Key & Kiln, we use high-quality, durable stoneware clay to create pieces designed for everyday use. Each item is handcrafted and fired at high temperatures, making them:
Lead and Cadmium: Free & Food Safe Glazes.
Eco-Friendly: Made with sustainable practices and materials.
Modern Designs: Forms and glazes are carefully selected for durability and a beautiful, lasting finish.
Our stoneware is food safe and dishwasher safe; however, to ensure longevity, hand washing is recommended. While highly durable, handmade pottery requires gentle handling to avoid chips or cracks. Please avoid using in microwaves, as these unique, artisan-made pieces are crafted with care and meant to be cherished for years to come.

Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, ensuring the highest quality. Because of this process, lead times may vary depending on the size of your order:
Standard Orders: Typically ship within 1–2 weeks.
Wholesale or Large Orders: 1–3 weeks for production, plus additional time for shipping.
Rush Orders: Need it sooner? Contact us to discuss expedited options.
We Deliver: locally within 20 miles free!
We’ll keep you updated every step of the way so you know when to expect your custom creations.
